Volunteer Opportunities Available! Your Help is Needed: Serving Our Community
There are several ways you can make a difference this week through your time and talents: A Baker’s Dozen of Help: John Danovich is in urgent need of volunteers to work in the bakery baking as well as some computer work. Please see John for ways you can use your gifts. If you can lend a hand, please reach out! Food Pantry Volunteers: We need helping hands to staff the Food Pantry distribution on Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM . Your presence is essential to serve those in need with care and compassion. There are always ways to get involved—whether it’s helping in the Food Pantry , the Bakery , or within the Church community itself.

Ongoing Parish Book Club
Led by Fr. Deacon Lawrence of St. Stephen Byzantine . The group is studying Come, Follow Me by Fr. Justin Rose —a 20-week program of parish renewal and Scripture study focused on living out true discipleship. Meetings are held online (with optional home gatherings) from 8–9 PM EST on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Wednesdays of each month.

📅 June 25-27, 2026 – St. Athanasius
Join us for a high-stakes adventure from Thursday, June 25th to Saturday, June 27th, 2026 ! This year, VBS transforms into a three-day Escape Room challenge where we explore the Byzantine theme of Theosis .
The Mission The Challenge: Use daily lessons and worksheets to crack a chain of puzzles and open real locks. The Goal: Discover how God comes to us, how we become like Him, and how we share Him with the world. The Rewards: Daily prizes, secret clues for the next day, and a final commemorative icon for all successful explorers. The Experience: Includes engaging hands-on crafts, plus a daily snack and lunch. Who Can Join? Explorers: Children age 4 through rising 8th graders . Puzzles are tailored to be age-appropriate for each of our three classes. Game Masters: Students in 9th grade and higher are invited to lead the mission by managing puzzles and assisting the groups! Mission Intel Cost: This is a free event . 2026 ByzanTEEN Youth Rally

Byzantine Teen Rally – “Take Courage!”
Teens ages 13–18 are invited to participate in the Byzantine Teen Rally, a faith-filled summer retreat taking place July 9–12, 2026 , at John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio. A mandatory parent meeting will be held after church on February 1 for all families interested in participating. Annual Eparchial Pilgrimage
Save the Date: August 15–16, 2026
Last year, pilgrims gathered at the Shrine of Our Lady of Mariapoch for a grace-filled weekend of prayer, fellowship, and renewal. Highlights included a Fireside Chat with Bishop Robert Pipta, Divine Liturgy celebrated with Bishop Earl Fernandes of Columbus, and the presence of Bishop John Michael Botean of the Romanian Greek Catholic Church. The pilgrimage concluded with candlelit prayers to the Most Pure Theotokos, sending all home renewed in faith. Our parish had one group attend last year with our older ECF children, and we are excited to invite more of the parish to join us this year. The camping area is free. Women are invited to join this annual renewal weekend focused on deepening their relationship with God through prayer, reflection, and fellowship. This year's theme encourages participants to surrender to God and walk with Him daily in humility and discipline while seeking His will for their lives. Scholarships are available.
