Intentional Relationships, Social Transformation, Theological Humility

ICC is a faith community that meets the first three Sunday nights of every month (starting August 7th!) in a living room. We prioritize intentional relationships, real social transformation and theological humility in our gathering as a community. We don’t all agree on everything and that’s okay; rather, diverse perspectives and experiences help us grow in love. The Way of Christ is about blessing

and loving well, not believing a particular set of beliefs. With this, we know we are always on a journey and that we don’t have to journey alone; and neither do you.

This past Sunday, Indy Community Church met for our final house meeting to celebrate our year together. We spent this wonderful year together reimagining faith; discussing justice, doubt, and prayer; taking serious our neighbors of other religious identities; opening ourselves to prophetic truth of liberation; and reading the stories of Scripture that move us beyond where we are and ground us in our faith community.

We are all so grateful for the transformation that has happened in us and through us. We are also thankful for the presence we experienced through those willing to come visit and share with us their wisdom and gifts.

May all people of faith continue to live into our divine diversity and seek the fullness of harmony God has called us as Christians to embody.
