Michael Ray Lewis, a former atheist turned Christian, has released a new documentary, Universe Designed, debuting December 13 on major digital platforms.

The film explores the relationship between science, philosophy, and Christian faith, arguing that the universe bears evidence of intentional design.

Featuring Christian scholars and apologists like Frank Turek, Sean McDowell, and Hugh Ross, the documentary addresses common objections to belief in God, including the problem of evil and evolution.

Lewis drew on his own journey from skepticism to faith, sparked by scientific and philosophical study, particularly the cosmic fine-tuning of the universe, DNA’s complexity, and the alignment of biblical creation with scientific observation.

The film is designed to engage both skeptics and believers, encouraging thoughtful dialogue about life’s biggest questions and presenting Christianity as the most coherent explanation for reality.

Lewis hopes it strengthens Christians’ faith while inviting seekers to explore a relationship with God, releasing the film during Christmas to align with the season’s deeper questions of purpose and meaning.
