14 Years of Godโs Faithfulness โ A Reflection
Today, we give thanks to Almighty God for the official inauguration of the Anglican Diocese of the Trinity (ADOTT) fourteen years ago, on August 19, 2012, marked by the signing of the Deed of Relinquishment, and for the privilege of being duly elected, confirmed, and enthroned as the second Diocesan Bishop of this beloved Diocese.
Looking back, we are deeply grateful for how far the Lord has brought us. What began with faith, prayer, sacrifice, and a vision for Godโs mission has continued to grow through the dedication of our clergy, laity, families, and friends of the Diocese.
The journey has not always been easy. There have been challenges, seasons of uncertainty, and moments when we had to depend entirely upon the grace and faithfulness of God. Yet, through it all, the Lord has remained faithful. As the Psalmist declares, โThus far the LORD has helped us.โ (1 Samuel 7:12)
As we reflect on these fourteen years, our hearts are filled with thanksgiving for the pioneers who laid the foundation, those who have served faithfully along the way, and everyone who continues to contribute to the growth and ministry of ADOTT.
As we look to the future, may we remain faithful to our calling, united in purpose, and committed to building together with God for His glory. May the Diocese continue to be a vessel through which lives are transformed, churches are strengthened, souls are won for Christ, and the Gospel is proclaimed to the nations.
Fourteen years of grace. Fourteen years of service. Fourteen years of Godโs faithfulness.
To God alone be all the glory!
โUnless the LORD builds the house, the builders labour in vain.โ โ Psalm 127:1
May the Lord bless ADOTT, preserve His Church, strengthen her leadership and people, and lead us into greater fruitfulness in the years ahead.
Happy 14th Anniversary, ADOTT!
