We thank God for the life, faithfulness, and continued service of **Mother Sarah J. Phinisee**, one of the co-founders of Deliverance Temple Church of God in Christ.
With the transition of our beloved **Pastor Fred E. Phinisee**, we recognize that a significant chapter in the history of Deliverance Temple has come to a close. Yet, God has graciously allowed us to continue to benefit from the presence and wisdom of another who helped lay the foundation of this ministry.
Mother Phinisee is **more than worthy of our love, honor, appreciation, and support.**
For many years, she has faithfully served this ministry—not only in a role she loves dearly as an **usher**, but also as a **First Lady and pastor’s wife**, carrying the responsibilities of that position with grace, strength, and faithfulness. - Pastor Alex Lewis
