Temple of Faith

Temple of Faith is truly a church founded on Love and compassion. By the grace of God Temple of Faith opened its doors on July 31, 2005. Originally services were held at the home of Pastor & Sister Thompkins at 1206 N. For two months we continued to worship and do God’s will. Our membership grew to about 10-15 members…needless to say we quickly exhausted what space we had so we then moved services

to the Douglas Family Center where we resided for about 6 months. The room was small, held about 30 people. This is where our work outside the temple began. We were blessed with the opportunity to assist the Douglas center with the troubled children that was brought to the center during the week. We mentored; we encouraged the children to build a relationship with God and to respect their parents and the community surrounding them. As time went on…as of July 2006 Temple of Faith had grown their membership to about 20 - 25 Souls. On June 4, 2006, God blessed us to move again to 3515 E. Washington Street. While it’s been a struggle in this constant growing kingdom, God has continued to give us strength, hope and knowledge to continue to do His will. Currently God has moved Temple of Faith in a new direction. In Temple of Faith's new direction, were focused on more ministries, community involvement, and the spirit of giving back.
