Keith Kunze reports a new gutter and downspouts were installed Thursday (September 3) by Fields Guttering and Siding. The roofline on the northside of the Fellowship Hall building had been without a gutter for several years.

If you enter via the ramp door Sunday, you will notice an upgrade and fresh coat of paint. Thank you to Brandy Miller for repairing some boards and adding new coats of paint to the ramp and rails. Pic taken between the ramp and rail coats on Tuesday, September 1.

The Rev. Jeffrey Iacobazzi leads our service and shares his message as we gather for worship and praise. He talks about a "little rule" we find in this week's gospel lesson from Matthew. Charles Rader is the worship assistant for this Fifteenth Sunday after Pentecost. For the remainder of the Time after Pentecost we will be using Setting Ten in the ELW hymnals for our liturgy. It begins on page 203 in the red/cranberry colored books.

Chuck Harvey sends along news of the passing of David Hockensmith who grew up at Salem in the 1940s and became an ordained Episcopal minister in 1966.

David Albert Hockensmith, 85, of Keene, New Hampshire, died July 19, 2026, after a brief illness.

Saturday morning we captured the blooms around the Salem campus. Here are the flower beds in Salem Park and along the Felllowship Hall. CHECK OUT the butterflies and the bee sharing a flower.
