Our Story

A Face Book for those who want to start strong and stand well. As we come to the conclusion of another year, Credentialing and Ministerial Development look back on a job well done. Our highlights this year included an upgraded Starting Strong 2.0. Targeting LMCs, CMCs, New Elders and New Superintendents, we embraced the Starting Strong YOU envisioned and made it happen. More relevant topics, more break out opportunities, better networking connections and for the first time, a partnership with every FMC WMC department and others, like, Outreach.com, Seed, ICCM, Set Free, Greenville University, just to name a few. Our annual Graduate Studies Theological Seminar (GSTS) for graduate and doctoral students continued to be refined and made more excellent this year as we gathered again in Indianapolis to hear the best doctoral presentations in the denomination. We developed a new and improved J Term for 2020 that will exceed and move beyond all previous J Terms at light speed. In 2020 J Term will reach across the US and be accessible to multiple candidates in every state! We look forward to meeting you at General Conference 2019. Please come to our exhibit table and meet myself and Joe and see “what the Lord hath wrought!” In the words of our Starting Strong 2.0 theme for 2018, “We have never been this way before!” (Joshua 3:4)
