We’ve journeyed through eight weeks of Summer of Renewal & Revival, and now we’re arriving at the week: Consuming Fire.

This week, we’re asking God to burn away whatever stands between us and love, faith, purpose, and joy—and to rekindle the fire within us for what matters to God.

Come ready for worship. Come ready for the Word. Come ready to be refined, renewed, and revived.

The journey isn’t over. The fire is still burning.

Our Summer of Renewal & Revival has been filled with passionate worship, a timely Word, joyful fellowship, food trucks, bounce houses, laughter, and a church family simply enjoying life together.

And we’re just getting started.

We’ll continue welcoming dynamic featured preachers, gathering around God’s Word, growing through our Before Amen book study, and creating moments for every generation to worship, connect, and be renewed.

The Freedom Summer Justice Revival in Indianapolis is taking place on Friday, July 17, 2026 at Light of the World Christian Church. This faith-based voting rights and community mobilization event features prophetic leaders Dr. Jamal Bryant, Pastor Michael McBride, and the Judah Band.

Date: Friday, July 17, 2026

Time: 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM (Doors open at 6:00 PM)

Location: Light of the World Christian Church, 4646 N Michigan Rd, Indianapolis, IN

Cost: Free admission, though attendees are encouraged to secure a seat in advance.

This evening of worship, advocacy, and civic empowerment is part of a 15+ city nationwide tour designed to engage Black churches and people of faith in voter mobilization and civil rights. The event will feature inspirational music, motivational speakers, and a special panel addressing social justice and community issues.

When God says “renew,” God isn’t asking you to keep pushing on empty. God is inviting you to exchange your strength for His.

Last Sunday, Rev. Nicole Guns reminded us through Isaiah 40:28–31 that the God who never grows weary is able to renew those who do. When our song grows faint, God’s strength remains steadfast.

“Those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength…”

What a powerful way to begin our Summer of Renewal & Revival. Worship was rich, the Word was timely, and we experienced the presence of God together.

This is only Week One.
