Today's devotion is from John 14:25-26.
“These things I have spoken to you while I am still with you. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you."
Jesus had poured much into his disciples — teachings, miracles, and the message of the coming kingdom. Knowing they could not carry it all on their own, he promised them a Helper. The Holy Spirit would bring his words back at precisely the right moment.
That same Spirit is with us today. As we read Scripture, he brings the perfect word — consoling, encouraging, affirming , guiding us when we need it. Thanks be to God!

Today's devotion is from 1 Corinthians 12:4-13.
"There are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit...to each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good."
The Holy Spirit is not a divider — He is the great unifier. Paul reminds us that whether you carry the gift of wisdom, knowledge, healing, prophecy, tongues, interpretation, or discernment, every gift flows from the same Source. "All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills."
The body of Christ is not a competition. It is a collaboration. Your gift is not greater than mine, and mine is not lesser than yours. Together, we become the finely tuned instrument God designed to fulfill His purpose on this earth.
Today, fan the flame. Notice the gifts in your community. Celebrate them. Encourage them. "For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body."
May the Spirit unite us. Amen.

Today's devotion is from 1 Corinthians 12:1-3.
"Now concerning spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want you to be uninformed. You know that when you were pagans you were led astray to mute idols, however you were led. Therefore I want you to understand that no one speaking in the Spirit of God ever says 'Jesus is accursed!' and no one can say 'Jesus is Lord' except in the Holy Spirit."
Paul wrote to the congregation he established, speaking to them about the Holy Spirit and His effects on us. He reminded them that when they had the Holy Spirit, they could not curse Jesus but could only declare Jesus is Lord.
We are reminded today that as believers, we have the Holy Ghost that connects us to the spiritual truths comprehended by God alone. When we allow the Spirit to work in our lives, we let God take over. Let us not walk in our own strength, but give complete control to the Holy Spirit so we can live in the power of God. Amen.

Today's devotion is from 2 Timothy 1:12-14.
Paul wrote with confidence, "I know whom I have believed, and I am convinced that he is able to guard until that day what has been entrusted to me." As Timothy's spiritual father, Paul wanted his beloved protégé to remain faithful to the end. He used the powerful image of something incredibly valuable placed in safekeeping — a deposit so precious that God Himself would ensure it remained untampered and secure.
Paul then charged Timothy, "Follow the pattern of the sound words that you have heard from me" and "guard the good deposit entrusted to you."
We, too, have been entrusted with the Word of God. Yet pride and a casual attitude toward God leave the door open for the enemy to bring confusion. May we guard our hearts, return continually to Scripture, and not be drawn away by counterfeits that merely resemble the gospel.
When we walk faithfully in God's ways, we will finish well and glorify Him with our lives. Amen.

Today's devotion is from 2 Timothy 1:8–12. Paul wrote these words from prison — a man mocked and shamed for his faith — yet he did not flinch. He was passing the baton to Timothy, his son in the faith, urging him to carry the same gospel with the same courage.
The world today can feel no different. Culture often ridicules and marginalizes the message of Christ. Yet Paul's words cut through every age: do not be ashamed. The gospel is not a message of defeat — it is the announcement that Christ has abolished death and brought immortality to light.
Take courage today. You are not merely surviving — you are an eternal being, rooted in the resurrection of Christ. Stand firm. The One who called you is faithful, and His purpose will not fail.

Today's devotion is from Numbers 11:24-30. Moses gathered seventy elders around the Tabernacle, and God took some of the Spirit that was on Moses and placed it on them. The Scripture tells us, "they prophesied, but did not continue doing it." What a remarkable sight — seventy leaders speaking under God's power!
Yet two men, Eldad and Medad, remained in the camp and prophesied there. When Joshua heard this, he urged Moses to stop them. But Moses responded with extraordinary grace: "Are you jealous for my sake? Would that all the Lord's people were prophets, that the Lord would put his Spirit on them!
Moses was so attuned to God that he knew not to seek his own recognition — God's glory is not diminished when it is shared. It multiplies.
Today, when God moves through someone else, we need not be jealous. Rejoice instead! God still calls us to be a community of priests, carrying His goodness into our land together.
Amen.

Today's devotion is from Joel 2:18-29
The prophet Joel was speaking words of favor to the people — comfort for those who had suffered deeply. They had strayed from God's path and been brought low, but now Joel foresaw a time when Israel would live in peace and prosperity. God would have mercy and heal the land.
Joel promised that God would "be jealous for his land and have pity on his people." The material blessings would be remarkable — grain, wine, and oil restored, the years the locusts had eaten given back. But the greatest promise was spiritual: "I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions." Not just priests or prophets, but every person — an entire nation of voices carrying God's word into the world.
This is our promise too. The same Spirit poured out at Pentecost lives in us today. Let us not wait passively, but expectantly — opening ourselves to be filled, and then carrying that goodness outward into our families, our neighborhoods, and our world.
Amen.

The Trinity is a hard concept to wrap our heads around and yet we believe as Christians in the Godhead being found in the union of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. When Jesus ascended into heaven, He instructed the disciples to make followers of Christ in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. When we go into the world we are invoking the power of God and He accomplishes his reign through us.
