Faithfulness to Jesus will sometimes cost us something—approval, comfort, acceptance, or the easy way out. The question is: When following Jesus costs me something, will I still follow Him?

What an amazing Family Fun Day today!! God provided amazing weather as we hosted several hundred great people from our community. We love our neighbors!

Jesus never said, “Blessed are those who avoid every uncomfortable situation.”

He said, "Blessed are the peacemakers.”

Sometimes, pursuing peace means letting something go. Sometimes it means owning our part. And sometimes it means having a difficult conversation or taking a courageous step toward something that is broken.

What is happening in our hearts when no one else is watching?

Jesus said, “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.” A pure heart is not a perfect heart. It is a heart that is honest before God, willing to be changed, and increasingly desires to belong fully to Him.

This week, we continued our journey through the Beatitudes and asked a challenging question: Can I remain faithful when God is the only one who notices?
