Lord, I put on the belt of truth. Help me to reject the lies of the enemy and live firmly in Your unchanging truth. I put on the breastplate of righteousness. Guard my heart from shame and guilt, and let me walk confidently as Your forgiven child. I fit my feet with the gospel of peace. Guide my steps today and anchor my heart in Your calm, steady grace.
I take up the shield of faith to block every fiery dart of fear, doubt, and discouragement thrown my way. I put on the helmet of salvation to protect my mind, keeping my thoughts focused and secure in Christ.
I take up the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Fill my mouth and heart with Your Scripture to counter confusion with truth. Lord, remind me to stay alert and pray in the Spirit on all occasions throughout my day.
