Help Needed Setting Up for Saint Matthew Parish Fish Fry

It's that time of year, parish fish fry season.

We need some assistance setting up for the parish fish fry. Tim Jerger is organizing a group to set up the Fish Fry tent. This should take less than an hour.

If you can help, be at the church at 9:45 am on Sautrday, February 26th.

Register Now for St. Matthew Men’s Retreat—Registration Deadline Is Jan. 31
All men of the parish are invited to the 2022 Men’s Retreat. Please register with Dan White as detailed below.
Where: St. Meinrad Archabbey—St. Meinrad, Indiana When: Feb. 18, 19, and 20 Who: Br. Stanley Wagner—Retreat Leader Theme: That We May Grow in Understanding—A Lenten Retreat Sponsor: St Matthew Men’s Club
Cost: Single-occupancy rooms ($150 per person) because of Covid concerns.
If you are comfortable and interested in rooming with a friend, the cost can be reduced ($100 per person). Scholarships are available; please inquire. Please contact Dan White if you have a roommate and provide each person’s name and contact information.

Just a quick reminder about the January Men’s Club meeting tonight. This is the night of the National College Football Championship.

The meeting starts at 7:30 pm. We will be meeting in the Community Room and watching the game on the big screen.

We are giving The Bubba's the night off. Thank you Bubba's for all that you do for the Men's Club! We will have food from Fat Dan's in Broad Ripple

SMMC - Upcoming Events - Men's Club Choir/First Saturday/Meeting

Just a quick reminder about some upcoming events.

Saturday, January 8th @ the 5 pm Mass

The Men's Club is looking for people to sing in the choir at the 5 pm Mass this Saturday. We would like to have some folks there to sing and help promote the Men's Club. If you are free or going to attend the Mass, please join us. Music Director, Deb Ward, has asked us to be at the Church by 4:30 pm to rehearse. From what I have been told, they are working on selecting songs you should be familiar with and able to sing. Meet at the from of the Church in the choir area.

Saturday, January 8th After the 5 pm Mass

Join the Men's Club as we sponsor the Parish First Saturday event after Mass. We will have wine, beer, and small appetizers. We also need some folks to help set-up for the event. Please be at the Church by 4 pm. Meet in the Community Room. Set-up involves moving tables and chairs from the storage room into the Community Room.

Monday, January 10th NCAA Nationals College Football Championship Watch Party Pitch-In

Join us for our January meeting to get together and watch the NCAA National College Football Championship game being held downtown. The meeting starts at 7:30 pm. We will be meeting in the Community Room.

We are giving the Bubba's the night off and will have catering from Fat Dan's Deli.
This is a pitch-in. If your last name is in the first half of the alphabet, A-M, please bring an appetizer. If your name is in the second half of the alphabet, N-Z,, please bring a dessert. If you need to keep your appetizer warm, please come to the warming kitchen, in the Community Room, and find a Bubba. They will help you.
