Today is the day we got to deliver all the food, gifts, and gift cards you donated for students and their families at Jonathan Jennings Elementary! 8 families and 25 kids will have a brighter Christmas because of your generosity! Thank you for loving our community and helping JWFMC make a positive impact!

WORSHIP SERVICE CANCELLATION:

Good morning, John Wesley church family!

Due to the current road conditions and extreme cold, we are sad to announce that our morning worship services are canceled today. Children’s pageant will be postponed to December 21st.

If you have Giving Tree gifts that you need to bring to the church, please bring them by the office on Monday. If you aren't able to bring them by on Monday during office hours (9:00-4:30), please contact Pastor Bill today to make other arrangements. Thanks!

The Giving Tree is ready!

Here’s how it works: Each ornament represents a gift(s) for a child from our community (either toys or clothes). When you take an ornament (or 2 or 3) from the tree, sign it out on the sign-out sheet at the Welcome Desk. Then shop for your kiddo’s gift(s) and bring them back (with the ornament attached) by Sunday, Dec. 14th.

We’ll organize the gifts by families and deliver them to Jonathan Jennings Elementary on Dec. 15th. Please keep the gift total for each ornament in the $30-40 range, so mom and dad won’t have to explain why one kid’s gift is “fancier” than another’s.😉

ALSO, we have bags with holiday food lists attached to them. Grab a bag, sign it out at the Welcome Desk, and fill it up with the items on the list to help a family enjoy a delicious holiday meal together.

Everything is due back by Sunday, December 14th. Thanks for helping us love the families in our community!
