Happy Valentines Day to our own Pastor Jan Vanover and Sister Charlotte Rigney Vanover. Their love for one another truly reflects the love of Christ and for the ministry.

The month of February some relates it to the month of love, focusing on St Valentine, others focus on President’s Day, on Ground Hog Day as we anticipate spring. While some view the historical aspect and celebrate Black History month.

It’s great that one Man that died on an old rugged cross for you and me, he never knew sin, he never celebrated this world or the things that didn’t pertain to the people he loved, the ones that God the Father sent him for. But all these things are wrapped up in Him, all the love, for He is love He is wiser than the presidents, the Kings and Priests in this world. The only one that can predict the weather with 100% accuracy. Most of all if the past haunts you he can renew your mind, if we celebrate cultural heritage, triumphs or adversities, only He is the hope of tomorrow, the peace for today and the deliverance of yesterday.
So this month whatever you look forward to, take time to tell Jesus how much you love Him, give him your heart and know how it feels to have everything you need found in One Savior.

Due to current and expected weather conditions, and cold temperatures tonight and tomorrow, there will be no morning or evening services tomorrow.
We pray for God’s hand of safety upon you and your family!

Worship isn’t our warm up, before a sermon. Worship don’t stop when the music stops, worship is our Battle Cry that breaks every chain of bo***ge. Worship continues when church service is over.

I will exalt you, my God the King; I will praise your name for ever and ever.
Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.
Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.
Psalms 145: 1-3

There is a spiritual intensity in this hour that you can feel before you can explain. Scripture said the last days would look like this..deception rising, truth rejected, hearts growing cold, darkness growing bold and the enemy working overtime to wear down the saints. And now… we’re living it.

The Bible says we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, and rulers of darkness. That means the real battle isn’t people. It isn’t circumstances. It isn’t emotions. It is spiritual and the enemy is targeting the mind, the heart and the spirit.

And God has taught me…not through hardship, not through offense but through His Word, prayer, and praise,

You cannot fight a spiritual war through your feelings.
Feelings change.
Feelings mislead.
Feelings will pull you out of alignment faster than any temptation the enemy throws.

When emotions lead, the enemy barely has to lift a finger, he just has to whisper. So I’ve learned to ask God,

“Is this about me, or is this about You?
Does this glorify You, or does this feed my flesh?
Is this Your battle, or something I need to walk away from?”

Because if it doesn’t glorify God, I don’t want it.
If it drags me toward offense, I refuse it.
If it challenges my pride, I surrender it.
If it doesn’t align with Scripture, I shut it down.
I will not let emotions sabotage what God is doing in me.

We are here for such a time as this, and this isn’t the hour for shallow, easily offended Christianity. Offense is a trap. Bitterness is poison. And emotional immaturity has taken out more believers than the devil ever has.

Jesus never told us to follow our hearts.
He told us to deny ourselves, take up our cross and follow Him.
Most spiritual battles aren’t lost because the enemy is strong, they’re lost because our flesh is loud.

And look around, Scripture is unfolding in real time.

Truth being twisted.
Holiness replaced with convenience.
Believers chasing feelings instead of God.
Churches avoiding repentance because it offends.
People more loyal to wounds than the Healer.

The shaking we’re seeing is not meant to destroy us, it’s meant to wake us up.

The Bible still says,
Those who know their God will be strong.
The Spirit will raise a standard.
Greater is He that is in you.
No weapon formed will prosper.

But those promises aren’t for the emotionally driven. They’re for the spiritually anchored.

This is the hour to return to prayer.
To return to the Word.
To return to praise.
To return to holiness.
To return to obedience.

The truth Is,

The enemy cannot defeat a believer who refuses to bow to their feelings.
He cannot manipulate someone who filters everything through Scripture.
He cannot derail a heart rooted in prayer instead of pride.

Hell is fighting harder because heaven is drawing near.
Darkness is louder because the light in God’s people is rising.
The pressure is greater because the assignment on this generation is greater.

This is not the hour to fold.
This is not the hour to retreat.
This is not the hour to let emotions call the shots.

This is the hour to stand in the authority of Jesus Christ.
To silence lies with truth.
To respond in the Spirit, not the flesh.
To pray until the atmosphere breaks.
To worship until chains snap.
To choose obedience over comfort.
To let Jesus be bigger than your feelings.

Because when a believer stops reacting in their flesh and starts walking in their calling… hell shakes. Strongholds fall. Generational curses break. And every scheme of darkness collapses.

You were not called to survive this hour, you were called to prevail in it.

So rise up.
Armor up.
Fix your eyes on Jesus.
And refuse to be moved.

Because when God gets the glory… every force of darkness loses its grip.

as the people of Judah began to sing and praise God during an invasion by Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, the Lord set ambushes against their enemies, leading to their defeat and confusion, demonstrating the power of worship in overcoming overwhelming odds.
