This Sunday June 7 is our second Concert of Prayer. Join us at 6:30pm in the sanctuary for a time of songs in worship, Scripture to guide our prayer, and gathered time to pray solo and in groups. This is an important part of our work looking forward to where God is leading us as a church, so plan to be there as a part of this vital time.

Why a "Concert of Prayer"?

Jonathan Edwards wrote a treatise in 1747 called "An Humble Attempt to promote Explicit Agreement and Visible Union of God’s People in Extraordinary Prayer for the Revival of Religion and the Advancement of Christ’s Kingdom on Earth, pursuant to Scripture-Promises and Prophecies concerning the Last Time."

That's literally the title, but he gave us the term as way of describing concerted (or focused) prayer together. The idea was to call followers of Jesus to unity in prayer that God would revive His Church and advance the Kingdom of God. For this season, we are calling for the same!

So let's gather in united prayer and look to God for what He can do.

On Sunday, April 19 from 6:30–8:00pm, we’re gathering in the Graystone Sanctuary for a Concert of Prayer. Through Scripture, guided prayer, and music, we’ll fix our hearts on Jesus and ask for His direction in the season ahead.

Holy Week is almost here!
Here are a few things to be aware of in the coming week:

Palm Sunday
Services at 8:30am and 11:00am at Graystone as we celebrate the coming of Christ into this holy week.

Maundy Thursday
Communion service at 7:00pm as we remember the night Jesus was betrayed and gather around the Lord’s Table together.

Good Friday
Blood Drive at Graystone from 12:00pm–5:00pm
7 Last Words Service at 7:00pm, hosted by Saving Grace Church, with local pastors sharing reflections on the seven last words of Jesus from the cross.

Resurrection Sunday
Services at 8:30am and 11:00am at Graystone as we celebrate the glorious resurrection and victory of Jesus.

It's a beautiful time to be reminded of this good news.

REMINDER: We will be collecting diapers of various sizes at the March Bloom and Brew on March 14 to support Lifeway Pregnancy Center.

Also, we will have our annual church-wide bottle collection that began March 8. Grab a bottle before or after worship; fill it with change, bills, and/or a check and bring it back by Sunday, March 22. This is a wonderful way to support this local ministry to parents and families. Check out lifewayfamilies.org to learn more. Thank you for contributing!

Our shelves are getting very empty. We are in need of a few things specifically, but our Amazon List is also at the link below. We need soup, kids pasta (Chefboyardee-type) in cans OR small microwavables, fruit juices, shampoo and body wash.
