Faith Orthodox Presbyterian Church

Faith Orthodox Presbyterian Church Conservative Presbyterian Church holding to the Westminster Confession A church where the lost can hear the gospel and be saved.

Faith Orthodox Presbyterian Church held its first worship service at the Indiana YMCA building on May 7, 1995. Through much prayer and counsel, a group of more than fifty people took a step of FAITH and set out to establish a Presbyterian Church that was solidly biblical and Calvinistic. Also, where the saved can hear the word of God preached and taught so they could grow in the grace, faith and

service of the Lord Jesus Christ. And finally, a church where they could minister to one another and reverently worship God in the joy of His salvation. One month later this group of believers were officially received as a mission congregation of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church under the oversight of the session of Westminster Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Hollidaysburg, PA, which is approximately fifty miles east of Indiana, PA. Elders and deacons were elected and on May 2, 1997 FAITH Orthodox Presbyterian Church was recognized as a new and separate congregation of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church. On Sunday, September 2, 2001, FAITH Church moved worship services from the Indiana YMCA to her new and present location. The new location is just two miles north of Indiana along old route 119, just before the intersection with route 110 (Ernest/Creekside Road). Not all who began this journey of FAITH have remained, but others have joined and the commitment to the initial goal is still strong.

How God Wants Us to Worship Him
By Pastor Joe Morecraft, III

“In this study we will be attempting to answer this pivotal question: How does God want us to worship Him? Not how do we want to worship God; but how does God want to be worshipped? How we want to worship God is irrelevant because what we want may not be what God wants. In worshipping Him – our great King and dear Savior – our concern must always be to please Him, not to please ourselves or to please others. As we stand before His face and under His sovereignty in worship the question cannot be: What do we want to do in worship that will please us but rather, what does God want us to do in worship that will please Him? We are not worshipping ourselves, we are worshipping the living and true God.” – Pastor Joe Morecraft, III

“Faithful Christian, seek the truth, listen to the truth, learn the truth, love the truth, speak the truth, adhere to truth and defend truth to the death.
