Church family! We have an amazing opportunity to cover one of our local elementary schools in prayer and we need you! Next Tuesday, September 8th starting at 5:30 at East Elementary we will have our prayer walk! If you have never experienced one of these, it is a powerful time praying for the school, faculty, and this next generation to know the Lord! We will start with some worship songs inside, and then get to walk in the schools, in/out, praying over classrooms and the school itself. Our amazing partners Heart for Monroe will be there, and we are grateful for their partnership and this opportunity! The only thing missing from this night could be you. Hope you will join me!

Here is an opportunity to support our The Church at Indian Trail church plant in Sunset Beach, Waypoint Church ! Just two weeks ago, they gathered, packed, distributed 400+ bookbags filled with the supplies for local students and fed them.It was a special day! This Sunday is the final collection day for our Chalk it Up to Love, Back to School supply drive. Thank you so much for the amazing generosity and kindness already shown. It has been incredible! We cannot wait to deliver these supplies to the local union county schools on Monday with Heart for Monroe Thank you for being a part of blessing so many!

Great people needing your assistance!!

Has God been calling you to serve your community? We are in need of some strong hands with the ability to drive a box truck! We are looking for a volunteer to help with our perishable pickups on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays. Must be able to drive the box truck and lift 40-60 pounds. Hours would be mornings beginning at 9 am and finished by 11. We would love a volunteer to fill this role but would consider some compensation if needed. Good afternoon, Church family!

Pastor Rob Widders here!

On August 20th, I will be traveling down to our church plant at Waypoint Church, in Sunset, NC to be a part of an awesome community outreach event, hosted by Waypoint Church. We will be assisting Pastor Jacob and his awesome congregation from 4-7pm that day to pass out bookbags with all the school supplies requested by their teachers (already packed). We will have the opportunity to love on and give hope to over 400+ children and their parents.

Ideally, we will start the set up process at 2pm that day and stay for whatever clean up after the event. This event will take place at Jessie Mae Monroe Elementary school. This is the site where Waypoint Sunset church meets every Sunday at 10:30am. Pastor Jacob and his congregation want to give back to their community to help these precious children and amazing teachers start the school year off with intentional love and care in Jesus's sweet name.

We will need help with the bookbag distribution, food service, and just sharing the joyful spirit of Christ with this wonderful community. We need 8 volunteers from The Church at Indian Trail or Lift who would be willing to assist that day. Both set up and clean up for the event as well. You would need to arrange your own transportation, lodging, meals. It is a great opportunity to meet and serve on the coast to our church neighbors of Waypoint Sunset. Tomorrow starts our annual “Chalk it Up to Love” school supply drive with our friends at Heart for Monroe that directly supports providing these needed supplies to students at local Union County Schools. Supply list is below!

Upcoming: Mission Panama 2026 Interest Meeting

The Church at Indian Trail Mission Trip interest meeting is Tuesday 7/21 in room B207 from 630-730pm. Come learn to see if God is calling you to Panama for this exciting mission trip opportunity to share the Gospel in the Panama lower and upper school systems and community. In a long standing partnership with our trusted local church Resurrection Baptist, we have been requested to come down for community outreach, provide evangelism training to the church, , and share the gospel with k-12th grade children.
