DID YOU KNOW THAT CERTAIN VERSIONS OF THE BIBLE STATE THAT THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS WITHIN US (vs. "among us" or "in the midst of us")?
HERE ARE THE TRANSLATIONS THAT READ THAT THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS WITHIN US:
American Standard Version: '"..The Kingdom of God cometh not with observation: neither shall they say, Lo, here! or, There! for lo, the Kingdom of God is within you."
Geneva Bible: "The Kingdome of God commeth not with observation. Neither shall men say, Loe here, or lo there: for behold, the kingdome of God is within you."
KJV: "...The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: neither shall they say, Lo here! or lo there! for behold, the kingdom of God is within you."
NKJV: "Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, 'The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, "See here!" or "See there!". For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you."
New Messianic Version (NMV): "Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God - the Father is within you."
**With the exception of the NMV, the above older versions of the Bible say that the Kingdom of God is WITHIN us. **
Question: What happened to this above passage in translation that now state that the the Kingdom of God is "among us" or "in your midst", which implicates that He and His Kingdom are outside of a believer or group of believers? (ex. CSB, NKJV, NASB20, AMP, ESV, LEB, NIV)
As we are in Christ and therefore per Paul we have been made complete, will it not follow that this completeness is the Kingdom of God in Christ within us?
"...in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, and in Him YOU HAVE BEEN MADE COMPLETE, and He is the head over every ruler and authority..." --Colossians 2: 9, NASB20
