Title: Faith: Believing is Seeing 9-28-25
Text: John 20:29
I. Why faith is important to your Christian walk?
A. It pleases God when you walk by faith: Hebrews 11:6
B. You can accomplish the impossible through faith. (Mary conceived the Son of God by faith:) Luke 1:36-37
II. What is faith?
A. The faith of Jesus is living in you: Gal. 2:20
B. Faith is the substance and evidence of things not seen.

III. What faith is not
A. Trying to make God do something
1. Throwing away eye glasses
2. Going off medication early when your faith is weak

IV. God has the things you need
A. He supplies: Philip. 4:19
B. The desires of your heart: Psalm 37:4
C. If it is in God's Word you can believe for it
V. How your faith works:
A. Speaking to your obstacle: Mark 11:22-23
B. Believe you have "it" when you pray: Mark 11:24
C. Look at yourself with "it" in the invisible realm: 2 Cor. 4:18
Look: Gr. = skopeo, skop-eh'-o; to take aim at (spy) regard, consider, mark.
D. Keep the “switch of faith” turned on: Don’t allow discouragement to steal what you have.
1. Have a vision of yourself with what you desire from God’s Word. Hab. 2:2-4
2. Look at it often until it comes to pass.
E. Your faith works by love: Gal. 5:6
Conclusion:
The world’s definition of faith is, “Seeing is believing.” Our definition of faith is, “Believing is Seeing.” You must see yourself with it until it comes to pass. You know it is from God when it blesses others through His love.
