Praise the Lord everyone. Praise His Holy Name! Good morning, Mt. Sinai-Cornerstone AME Family and Friends, please join us today, Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at 12 noon, in corporate prayer. Let's come together in our own space for the scripture, meditation, and prayer. Prayer is a powerful tool and it breaks down, moves, and crumbles mountains. Amen!
SCRIPTURE: JEREMIAH 29:12-13 NASB
12 “Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. 13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart."
MEDITATION: ENTIRELY
Do you ever find yourself praying: “God, please draw me to You and help me to know what to do?” If you do, realize that prayer actually originated with Him. The Lord leads you to ask this because He knows that when you reach that place of deep intimacy with Him, you will experience joy, peace, and an overflowing sense of being loved that nothing in all creation can equal.
“But wait,” you might say. “I’m praying that because I need to hear him. I need His guidance and He is silent.” If so, then understand there may be something He is targeting in you—some area or issue that you have refused to relinquish to Him. Perhaps it has come to your mind even at this moment, but you push the thoughts away with the justification, That can’t possibly be what God wants to address.
But realize that the Lord wants your whole heart—yes, even that thing He’s just brought to mind. Don’t shut Him out. Ask Him to reveal how He wants you to proceed in that area. Open your heart to Him fully, and you will find Him drawing near in ways you never imagined possible. My hope is in Jesus because He wants all of me. (Jesus, Our Perfect Hope Devotional)
PRAYER OF DECLARATION:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your plan of salvation. Thank You that in Your compassion and love that You did not leave me alone. Thank you for the promise that when I seek You, I will find You. Jesus, I want to honor You with my whole heart. Reveal any way in me that is not submitted to You. I open my heart completely to You today. Remove distractions, doubts, and the things that pull my focus away from you. Strengthen me to seek Your presence not just in times of need, but every single day. Reveal Yourself to me and draw me closer to Your heart. In Jesus' name, Amen.

My brothers and sisters, our God is real ... believe His Word for it is true. Father God, help me to draw closer and closer to You. It is my desire to accomplish all that You have ordained for me in this lifetime. You have brought me to a new place, a place of deliverance and freedom. Father God, help me to hold on and receive all that You hold in place for me. May the peace of our risen Savior bless and keep you forever and ever. Amen.

SCRIPTURE: EXODUS 15:23-25 NLT
23 When they came to the oasis of Marah, the water was too bitter to drink. So, they called the place Marah (which means “bitter”). 24 Then the people complained and turned against Moses. “What are we going to drink?” 25 So Moses cried out to the Lord for help, and the Lord showed him a piece of wood. Moses threw it into the water, and this made the water good to drink.
MEDITATION: A MESSAGE FROM GOD’S HEART – TASTE AND SEE THAT I AM GOOD
“Taste and see that I am good. Taste and see that my plans are good. The bitterness in your mouth did not come from Me. I will remove the bitter taste from your experiences. It’s been like gall in your heart, but I am turning your bitter waters to sweet, and you will taste and see that I am good. You will feast on My love and kindness. You will partake of My goodness. You will hide My word in your heart, and I will minister to the deep and hidden places in your soul. Rejoice, I am making your bitter waters sweet. And out of you will flow rivers of living waters to bring healing to the nations. Says the Spirit of the Lord.” (Scripture references: Psalm34:8; John 7:38). (Daughters of the King Devotional)
PRAYER OF DECLARATION:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your plan of salvation. Thank You that in Your compassion, You did not leave humanity to die in our sin but to rise to life immortal through faith in Christ Jesus, our atoning sacrifice. Thank You for Your amazing plan of redemption, that by the one righteous act of Christ Jesus our Lord, many will be declared righteous and be forgiven of sin, through faith in Him. Keep me low at the Cross and broken before You, and I pray that those who are still dead in their sin and at enmity with You, would be convicted of their sin and turn to Jesus for forgiveness of sin and life everlasting. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

My brothers and sisters, hear the word "A Message from God's Heart." He's speaking. He's letting you know that the trials and temptations have not gone unnoticed. He (God) says, "I am turning your bitter waters to sweet, and you will taste and see that I am good." Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. Glory, Hallelujah! He heard your prayers and a change is on the way. Rest now and say, Amen.

SCRIPTURE:
Genesis 3:10 Amplified
10 He said, “I heard the sound of You [walking] in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so, I hid myself.”
MEDITATION: STOP HIDING
When we picture Adam and Eve crouched behind bushes in an attempt to hide from all-knowing God we may chuckle at the futility of their act. Of course, they knew that eventually they would have to face Him and that He already knew what they had done. But where we can empathize is in that feeling of fear that God can really see us – that He knows all the shame we bear an all the ways we have failed.
Maybe you aren’t hiding behind bushes, put perhaps you understand what it is to conceal your most private thoughts, faults and failures out of embarrassment. Afraid that their deepest hurts will be exposed—naked for all to see—most people hide behind defensive responses. However, this does absolutely no good for anyone. These coping mechanisms only end up isolating you further from others and from the One you need most –from God Himself.
Friend, understand that today, the Father is calling you to come out of concealment so you can be free of those shameful places. Will you blame your past and keep covering yourself with ineffective methods? Or will you open yourself to His healing presence? Don’t act ineffectively, like Adam and Eve. Stop hiding and be free. (Jesus, Our Perfect Hope Devotional)

My brothers and sisters, our God is real ... believe His Word for it is true. So, when old habits whisper, when past versions of you try to negotiate a return you answer with authority: I am not who I was. I am not going back ... God has delivered and set me free. Stop hiding and revel in the blessing of God's breakthrough. May the peace of our risen Savior bless and keep you forever and ever.

Praise the Lord everyone. Praise His Holy Name! Good morning, Mt. Sinai-Cornerstone Family and Friends, please join us today, Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at 12 noon, in corporate prayer. Let's come together in our own space for the scripture, meditation, and prayer. Prayer is a powerful tool and it breaks down, moves, and crumbles mountains. Amen!
SCRIPTURE:
1 Peter 5:6-7, Amplified
6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God [set aside self-righteous pride], so that He may exalt you [to a place of honor in His service] at the appropriate time, 7 casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully].
MEDITATION: THE POWER OF RELEASE
When you are set on fulfilling God’s purpose for your life, you must remember to release people and situations to God. Why? Because it will destroy you and will hinder your spiritual progress if you don’t. Obey God and release them. You can’t free them by your power. You can’t deliver anyone in your own strength. You can’t change anything about that situation by yourself. We can’t but God can. And if anything, miraculous is going to happen, it’s going to be by the power of God’s Holy Spirit.
Don’t take upon yourself a responsibility God didn’t give you. Don’t worry yourself trying to figure out what you can do to save them. Do only what God tells you to do and then release it to Him. I know it’s tough, but you must know that God cares for that person AND you. Give it to Him and stand back and watch Him work.
God is saying by His Spirit, “I will do what I promised. Trust Me. Entrust them to Me. I can go where you can’t. I can see where You can’t. Nothing is hidden from Me. Release them to Me. Give it all to Me, and You will see Me demonstrate My love and My power in ways You thought were impossible.”
A Challenge for You: Make a list of every person you are carrying on your heart and mind. Go down your list and say, Lord, I release say their name to You. I entrust them to Your care. Have Your way in their lives. This is my prayer, in Jesus’ name.” Amen. (Daughters of the King Daily Devotional)
PRAYER OF DECLARATION:
Father God, I care deeply for the people in my life, and I want to see them experience the life and freedom that I am experiencing in You. I exercise the power You have given me through Jesus, and I release them by faith into Your care. I trust in you Jesus, my Lord. Help me as I trust in Your presence as I praise and glorify You mightily. In the mighty precious name of Jesus, the Christ. Amen.

My brothers and sisters, God's Word is absolute. Isaiah 41:10, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Father God, I am anxious and afraid. Please be with me now. You are my God, and I trust You to uphold me with Your righteous right hand. Let this be your mantra for as long as needed. God bless and keep you.

In the Mighty Name of Jesus, the Christ,
Rev. Mildred Barnes
