When I’m struggling to believe what God says about me, these are some of the things I do to help me recenter:

1️⃣ Pray to be filled with Christ’s love and eyes to see the world (including myself) as He does.

2️⃣ Read God’s word. Some of my favorites are Matthew 6 and my patriarchal blessing.

3️⃣ Ask for a priesthood blessing!

4️⃣ Journal. Write down my thoughts and label them “from God” and “from Satan.”

5️⃣ Sing a hymn—or a worship song like this one—to rebuke the demons and invite the Spirit.

You are a child of God. You are literally a princess and future queen. The mud of Satan’s lies is unworthy of you.

Your path to NOT being in this situation:

1 ✨ Don’t hang out with exes. No bueno. Once you’ve broken up, stick with your guns. Don’t slide back into dating or “not dating.” I’ve seen this go wrong with lots of girls.

2 ✨ Don’t be alone with a guy late at night without anyone knowing where you are. Just like… be wise. Even when you’re dating someone you trust, don’t put yourself in bad situations.

3 ✨ Don’t date people you wouldn’t marry. (Oof that’s spicy.) Maybe you go on A date with a safe man you wouldn’t marry, but if he’s not marriage material (like doesn’t want a temple marriage like you do), walk now.

4 ✨ Live really close to the Lord. Keep the Spirit with you always. You never know when you will need a powerful prayer to save you. If you aren’t already close to the Spirit, it will be hard to hear His voice and understand His help.

Can you catch anything else I SHOULD have done differently? Or other lessons learned?
