What is Rosh Hashanah?
According to the Jewish Calendar It is the Head of the year or the new year. Rosh Hashanah 2018 or 5779 begins at sundown on September 9 and continues through nightfall on September 11. the 15th falls on the 10 days of awe just before Yom Kippur. The day of atonement. It is the birthday of the universe, the day G‑d created Adam and Eve, and it’s celebrated as the head of the Jewish year.
The sound of the shofar is meant to awaken our hearts and to prepare.It has a prophetic significance in the life of a Christian, and is tied to the end time event of the “rapture” of the bride of Machiach when the trumpet shall sound.(Shofar).

“ Behold, I saw a mystery;We shall not all sleep,but we shall all be changed,in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye at the last trumpet (shofar): for the trumpet (Shofar)shall sound, and the dead in Christ shall be raised incorruptible.and we shall be changed.”
