I, Carolyn Rich, had the honor to lead worship this morning. We had a service based on Hope, but the underlying theme was Faith, Hope and Love.

I feel truly blessed that I can serve the church I was raised in. We are coming up on 75 years at Trinity. What an accomplishment!

God has truly blessed, Trinity!!

"Gracious God,
If you are Lord of heaven and on earth, why do I often feel that the weight of the world is on my shoulders? As I rest this night, I give to you my day, with all my decisions and tasks, my hopes and my worries. I give to you the work that I have accomplished, but also the work that stretches me past my own ability. I give you my questions and my doubts.
Lord, I thank you for your guidance. I thank you for the places where I am empowered to work, where the talents you have given me can shine. But I also thank you for those places where I feel tested and tried – for in those places I turn to you. Help me to look to you in all things, and in every work, every task, every event, give you glory.
This I pray in Jesus name.

Trivia Night Oct. 17th. Build your team of 8 and come have fun with trivia across the decades! $10 a person. There will be a silent auction, mini games, and chili and hotdogs for additional fees. Dress your favorite decade and come have fun!

Thank you for keeping me close to You, for not ever forgetting me, even when it seems like everyone around me has forgotten. Help me remember that You are near, so that I turn towards You, calling out to You and reaching towards Your loving arms, which are open to me.
