We had a great time at the back to school pool party today! The plant was given to Ms Robbie in appreciation for letting us swim in her pool this summer. Thank you so much Ms Robbie!

Today for our Last Summer Bible Adventure we went to the Peace Pavillion.
After learning Why they called Abigail from the Bible a "the Peace Maker" and she resolved the problem and made peace with David, we had a lot of fun exploring different ways to be peaceful and provide a peaceful environment for ourselves and those in our community and our planet.

Yesterday we had another great Bible adventure at the Animal Nature Center in Swope Park. After doing a scavenger hunt with all the animals, we went across the street to the KC Pet Project where we donated over $200 worth of pet supplies and got to see a few puppies that will get to use those much needed supplies. It was a fun day and another great way to pay it forward to our community from FPC-SBA!

We had a great day yesterday with another SUMMER BIBLE ADVENTURE at Prehistoric Putt! We learned how being a good golfer is similar to being a good Christian! We focused on our follow-through, and Mulligans! And we all used a couple of mulligans! We are thankful God gives us Mulligans!!!

We had a great time Diving into God's word on our 2nd Summer Bible Adventure!, as we learned about Paul's Shipwreck. We learned to trust God just as Paul did when God promised Paul everyone on the ship would be saved! After the story we jumped in the water to search and collect the treasures the Shipmates threw overboard out of fear. The Shipmates refused to eat because they were so scared! But we knew we were safe with God, and enjoyed Hotdogs, chips, and Ice cream! It was a fun day!

Our 1st SUMMER BIBLE ADVENTURE of the year, Yesterday was so much fun! We got to go fishing, learn about Blacksmiths and why its called blacksmith. We visited an old bank, and Barber shop, where we all got our hair cut and our teeth pulled! We forgot to bring extra money so we learned we all had to shared the same bath water! We saw so many animals from a bald eagle, chickens,pigs, buffalo, prairie dogs, turkeys, Hawks, owls and a Llama named after the Llama on the movie The Emperors new groove! And many more! We also took great care of feeding the baby goats, and watching over the sheep! Just like David we earned our crowns to decorate and become Kings and Queens!

We had a great time at the movies! We had 20 people join us to watch the movie DAVID at AMC Independence theater. After the movie our youth help pick up trash littered on the theater property.
