What’s one thing you treasure? During September, our elementary kids are studying "The Treasure", where we will go on an adventure to discover that the Bible is more valuable than gold, candy, or even buried pirate treasure!

".. Do not call something unclean if God has made CLEAN." Acts 10:15

On Sunday, Pastor Jordan talked about the story of Peter's vision of a sheet being lowered by its FOUR CORNERS and the significance of what God was asking of him. Many times God asks things of us that we don't quite understand but he sees the bigger picture!

We talked about three things we can take away from this portion of the story:
- God may need to work IN us before he can work THROUGH us.
- We can OBEY before we understand.
- Obedience should MOVE us toward people.

Next week, we'll continue the story and see how Peter's obedience impacts the spread of the Gospel forever!

Elementary families: There is still time for our child to earn a Bible prize! Our “BringYo Bible” incentive program goes through September. Have your elementary kids bring their Bible for 4 weeks to start a great habit. Once they have 4 hole-punches, they earn a prize! If your child needs a Bible, please let us know. We have recommendations, or we also have some available to give away.
