As I will be out of town for the ABATE Rally 9/3-9/6, I'm sending the next two weeks' activities now.
Monday, 8/31 - Smithville's Paradise Riders Chapter Meeting at Pizza Shoppe, 14903 US 169 , Smithville, MO, eating at 6:00, meeting starts at 6:45. Our
State Coordinators, Chris and Sherry Stevens, will be ride 3 hrs. to be at this meeting to give a special presentation for the Chapter being the top giver for Run For the Son 2026. Nerissa would like to surprise them with a great show from other Chapters!
Thursday, 9/3/26 - Chapter 49's Fellowship Dinner Ride to "Texas Tom's", 600 Rte 291, Liberty, MO - 6:30 p.m. - Earl will be leading this ride as the Comb's ladies will be at the ABATE Rally. To ride together, meet at the QT on 291 and 24 Hwys. by 5:45 with KSU @ 6:00, or meet at the restaurant by 6:30.
Thursday 9/3 - Sunday 9/7 - Annual ABATE Rally at Perry Lake, KS.
CMA has been asked to run the Gate and Registration along with running our Hospitality Booth on vendor row for the 2026 Abate of Kansas National Labor Day Rally at Lake Perry. If you are planning to go one or more days and haven't signed up to volunteer, here is the link to get signed up:

Saturday, 9/5 - CMA's Bible Study & Breakfast, "Pegah's Family Restaurant", 410 Rte 291, Lee's Summit - 9:00 - 10:30
Saturday, 9/5 - "9.11 Tribute to Heroes Ride" - Ride begins at Outlaw Harley Davidson, Blue Springs - Registration opens at 9:00 a.m. with KSU @ 11:00 a.m. - Cost $25 for pre-registration, $30 Day of. (See attached Flyer - IMG_4845.jpeg)
Tuesday, 9/8th - Chapter 49's Prayer Breakfast at "Englewood Cafe", 10904 E Winner Rd., Independence. Meet there by 8:00 a.m.
Wednesday, 9/9 - "The Traveling Wall" will have a motorcycle es**rt from Ameristar Casino to Piburn Field - Historic District, Excelsior Springs. KSU @ 8:00 a.m. (See attachment)
Thursday, 9/10 - Chapter 49's Fellowship Dinner Ride to "Las Chili's", 6210 Raytown Rd. Meet at the QT on 40 and Lee's Summit Rd by 5:45 with KSU @ 6:00, or meet at the Restaurant by 6:30
Friday, 9/11 - "Nat'l Day of Service & Remembrance" , Holden Senior Center, 605 East 10th Street, Holden, MO - 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. (CMA has been asked to help with the parking of cars. They would like to have 6-8 volunteers. We have 3 already. Please let Nerissa know if you can help. You will need to be there by 4:00 p.m.
Saturday, 9/12 - Chapter 49 Ministering & serving lunch during the "Vintage Japanese Bike Club Show" at LCC Powersports, Liberty, MO - 9:00 - 1:00
This is a bit overwhelming, just remember this covers the next 2 weeks.
