We got a shout out from the "Friends of City Dogs" for our In-gathering fundraiser. What a great organization that does so much for the wonderful animals.

Independence Presbyterian Church's old stone chapel is on the National Registry of Historic Places. The congregation formed and held its first worship in 1837 and the chapel was built in 1855. Check out this great article about our historic building!
