Many thanks to Historic Kansas City for featuring the William Rockhill Nelson Memorial Chapel this year and for all they do to celebrate and preserve Kansas City’s history. We really enjoyed meeting everyone who visited yesterday at the open house. This year’s tour was a great success, and we loved sharing the history of the chapel with so many guests.

If you weren’t able to make the tour this year, don’t worry — we will be open again next year on Memorial Day, Monday, May 31, 2027, and we’d love to see you then!

It’s not always easy to visit the cemetery in person, but your loved ones are always in your heart. If you are unable to make it out this Memorial Day, we are here to help you honor their memory.
