Touch of Joy Life Changers Together, we can change lives - "one touch at a time". Rebuilding communities by joining forces with God and others to support and prosper others.

Touch of Joy was established in January, 2003 by O. Eartherline Downs. It's mission is to encourage people to rebuild their communities. Too often, we look for other people and the government to fix our problems, but this was never God's plan. Founded on a vision from God through the book of Nehemiah, who encouraged the exiled people of God to rebuild the wall of Jerusalem that had been burned by

fire, it is possible to do the work of strengthening and rebuilding our communities. Despite persecution and struggle, they rebuilt the wall in 52 days. After this was accomplished, the law of Moses was read to them and they were convicted of their sins against God. Nehemiah encouraged them to be strengthened with the joy of the Lord and help others who were in need. This same principle applies to us today. If we allow God to strengthen us as we let go of our weaknesses, we will be more equipped to help others in their time of need.
