Our first camp of the summer has come to a close, and we're thankful for all God did this week. As we clean, prepare, and reset the grounds, we're already looking forward to welcoming our next group of campers on Sunday.

Summer church camp season has officially begun at Cedar Glade Baptist Camp! 🌲

Today we welcomed campers and leaders from the Big Creek and Trinity Associations. We are excited to have 18 campers and 16 adults on the grounds this week as we kick off another summer of worship, fellowship, fun, and spiritual growth.

As camp begins, we ask everyone to join us in praying for each camper, counselor, leader, and volunteer. Pray for safe travels, meaningful friendships, open hearts, and life-changing encounters with Jesus throughout the week.

We are thankful for all those who have worked behind the scenes to prepare the campground, and we can't wait to see what God has in store this summer.

Camp season is here, and we're excited to watch God move! ❤️🙏🌲

Only 4 more days until camp season kicks off at Cedar Glade!

This Monday, June 1, we’ll welcome our very first campers of the summer, and there’s a whole lot of excitement around camp right now. The mowers are running, buildings are being cleaned top to bottom, inspections are being finished up, supplies are being unpacked, and yes…the pool is open and ready for a summer full of fun and memories.

But more important than all the preparations you can see, prayers are already being prayed over every camper, counselor, church, and leader that will step onto these grounds this summer. We’re believing God is going to move in a mighty way through every worship service, cabin devotion, late night conversation, game, and quiet moment. We can’t wait to see lives changed and hearts drawn closer to Jesus.

Our Cedar Glade Camp board has also worked hard preparing for camp season by updating our camp policies and creating a new Emergency Preparedness Plan to help keep everyone safe while on campus. These documents will be emailed to all camp directors, and we ask that every staff member and volunteer receive copies before arriving at camp. Posters will also be placed throughout the campground this summer for easy access and reference.

Please continue praying for Cedar Glade, for safe travels, for our staff and volunteers, and most of all for every young person that will walk through our gates this summer.

Registration is now open for Captured Student Camp! Register early. Some of the camps nearly hit capacity last summer. Register by June 19th to ensure a t-shirt.

Check out the fabulous deck off of cabin number seven. This will be wonderful this summer for sitting in the shade and watching the kids enjoying the pool. (and about a million other uses) Thank you to all those who worked so hard to get this done for camping season.
