"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?"

Matthew 6:25-27

There are plenty of things in life that can make us worry or be frightened. Watching the news these days isn't always a fulfilling experience. In times like these it is important to remember that God has a plan for each and every one of us. He is watching out for us. We have a purpose. Instead of worrying or overthinking, take a few deep breathes and trust in the Lord. Everything will work out just fine!

Here's an update on our post earlier this week. It has been so wonderful to see the nation come together in prayer for this young man. While he is making great progress in his recovery, we must continue to pray! He hears us, and is capable of creating miracles that we cannot even fathom.

Bills safety Damar Hamlin had his breathing tube removed and has begun talking with his care team, family and teammates.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin and his family at this time.

For those that haven't heard the news, Hamlin collapsed on the field after making a tackle on Monday Night Football. The medical team cared for him for about twenty minutes on the field, during which he was given CPR, before he was taken by ambulance to a local trauma center in Cincinnati. He remains in critical condition.

Please keep this young man in your thoughts.

WHEN PARENTS GET OLD ... Let them grow old with the same love that they let you grow ...

Let them enjoy their friends just as they let you …
Let them enjoy the talks with their grandchildren, because they see you in them ...
Let them enjoy living among the objects that have accompanied them for a long time, because they suffer when they feel that you tear pieces of this life away ...
Let them be wrong, like so many times you have been wrong and they didn’t embarrass you by correcting you ...
LET THEM LIVE and try to make them happy the last stretch of the path they have left to go; give them your hand, just like they gave you their hand when you started your path!
