Many people mischaracterize God as a tyrant, or a far-off, unloving God. Oh but if someone would wholeheartedly examine and search the Word of God and see the true and deepest longing of His heart to show grace and mercy to the people He has created, they would find the true, indescribable love, grace and mercy of our God and Savior! Take a look at Pastor Joey's latest devotinal, "God's True Longing" and no matter if you have never heard of Jesus and His love for you, or you're a believer who has lost their way, may this word from the Word of God direct (or redirect) you to the loving arms of the one true God, who longs to be gracious to you! In the business, uncertainty and the seeming immediacy/urgency of life's demands, do you stop and ask the Lord what you should do? Or do you go about your day on a whim because "there isn't time" to ask or seek the Lord and His will? Follower of Christ, we MUST make time to inquire of the Lord, seek His Word, and ask Him what HE wants us to do, and wait for His answer. Otherwise, we are on our own! How much are you willing to forgive? Jesus had made it very clear that if we don't forgive others, He will not forgive us (Matthew 6:15). The question is, how many times should we forgive?
