What are marvelous idea! We will be challenging our Trail Blazers!

This summer, as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of America’s founding, we are excited to invite all children (K-8) to join in the Second Lady’s 2026 Summer Reading Challenge. Participants will read and track 12 books of their choice between June 1 and September 4. Every book counts!

We're giving our volunteers the Memorial Weekend off so the Bargain Barn will be closed this weekend, Thursday, 5.21 - Sat. 5.23.

Please do not leave donations while we are closed.

We will be open regular hours beginning 5 28.

We had such a wonderful time on Saturday spending time helping neighbors as a Good Neighbor America 2026 partner.

A huge shout out to our volunteers Paul, Al, Melissa, Kerry, Eric and JT ...you made it possible and fun!

Let's keep the random acts of kindness going...
- pay for someone's gas,
- compliment a stranger,
- pick up a piece of trash,
- Help someone carry their groceries,
