The Hymera Southern Baptist Church was started in 1914. 112 years later it has closed its doors. It was with profound sadness that the church voted to close its doors at the end of June.

Asking for everyone to pray for a young man that is going through some spiritual attacks and that God would give his family wisdom through the Word of God. Pray that God gives Karen and I wisdom through the work of the Holy Spirit, prayer and God's Word as we minister to them. God knows the family in need. Pastor Jonathan Shrader

I must say, I am ready for Church services to start again. I do miss the fellowship that we have. I also want to point out how Gods wisdom really shows in times like this in that we (as Believers in Jesus Christ) can see the work of the Holy Spirit. Although we are all in different buildings right now, we are still connected through the work of the Holy Spirit. Take time to read 1 Corinthians chapter 12. And if you don't have a home Church, pray with us and make plans to come fellowship with us when our doors reopen. Pastor Jonathan Shrader

When the women came to the tomb, they found it empty. There are a lot of people in the world that are searching for something to fill an emptiness in there life. There heart is heavy and in need of love. Praise God for the empty tomb of Jesus Christ. It is the answer for the heavy heart. Jesus Christ paid the price for our sins by His death on the cross. He gave us victory over death by His resurrection. The tomb is empty and through Jesus Christ we can have life eternal. Scripture tells us "...if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9 NKJV
What are you waiting for? Ask God to forgive you of your sins, ask Jesus Christ to be your Savior and Lord. He will fill your heart with His eternal love and life everlasting. Pastor Jonathan Shrader
