Hello all! We had a major thunderstorm blow through our area late this afternoon. As of right now, Sunday Bible study & worship service are still on. If anything changes, we'll post it here. If we're still a go, Bible study is at 9:30 AM as we continue in the final chapters of Ezekiel, and Mike Green will continue our look at the epistle of 1 John, chapter 4.

Our opening Scripture reading is from James 4:13-17 (NKJV):

13 Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit”; 14 whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a v***r that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. 15 Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that.” 16 But now you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil.
17 Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.

We are #30 on the map. Saturday only, rain or shine. We'll have the coffee on for you 😊

Tomorrow (5/31) we will get back to doing Sunday Bible study at 9:30 AM as we continue on the home stretch of Ezekiel. There's so much to unpack in this book, it's hard to pinpoint a date that we'll finish until we actually get there. At 10:30 AM we will have our worship service & continue in 1John chapter 4.
Our Scripture reading for this week is 1 Peter 4:12-16 (NKJV):

12 Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; 13 but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. 14 If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified. 15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer, a thief, an evildoer, or as a busybody in other people’s matters. 16 Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter.

Good morning to all! We hope you're taking time this weekend to reflect upon the many sacrifices made by those who have fallen to preserve our nation's freedom. Our country is far from perfect, that's for sure. But we believe it is the greatest nation on the planet; certainly the one that has benefited most from God's blessings these past 250 years.

There is no Bible study this morning. We will pick it back up next Sunday. Worship service is at 10:30 AM, and we'll continue in the epistle of 1 John during the message

This week's Bible verse is Titus 2:11-15, taken from the New King James Version:

11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, 13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.
15 Speak these things, exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you.

There will be no Sunday Bible study this week, and we will have a guest speaker joining us to bring a message on hope during our worship service at 10:30. Please join us!
Our Scripture reading this week is 1 Peter 1:3-5 (NKJV):

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

Happy Mother's Day to all of our Moms out there!

Romans 5:1-5 (NKJV) is our Scripture for this week:

1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; 4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Our Sunday Bible study is at 9:30 and we will continue on the home stretch of the book of Ezekiel. Worship service is at 10:30. During the message we will look further into 1 John:3.
We hope you will join us - we promise you won't regret it. 😊

Sunday Bible study is at 9:30 tomorrow, and our worship service is at 10:30. We'll continue in 1 John during the message time. Please join us, we'd love to see you!
This week's Scripture reading is from the gospel of John, chapter 9, verses 9-17 (NKJV):

9 “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. 10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.
11 “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. 12 This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. 14 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. 15 No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. 16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. 17 These things I command you, that you love one another.

We're coming into the home stretch in our Ezekiel study during Sunday morning Bible study. We'll be starting at 9:30 going forward. Why don't you come on out & join us in heading towards the finish line of this book?
Worship service is at 10:30. During our message we'll continue in chapter 3 of the book of 1 John.
Our verse of the week is Romans 6:20-23 (NKJV ). Verse 23 sums up the Gospel in a few beautiful words.

20 For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. 21 What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. 22 But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
