With profound sorrow and humble submission to the will of Allah ﷻ, the Sierra Leone Muslim Jamaat (SLMJ) announces that our beloved member, Haja Kadija Sesay, was laid to rest yesterday.

Haja Kadija Sesay was a respected and cherished member of the SLMJ community. She will be remembered for her dignity, devotion, and steadfast commitment to faith, family, and community. Her presence and contributions left a lasting impact on those who knew her, and her memory will continue to inspire kindness, humility, and service.

The Sierra Leone Muslim Jamaat extends its sincere gratitude to all who attended the Qur’anic recitation, Janazah prayer, burial, and repast, as well as those who offered prayers, condolences, and support to the family during this time of loss. Your presence and compassion were a source of comfort and strength.

In appreciation of his unwavering commitment to the dissemination of authentic Islamic knowledge, moral guidance, and community transformation, SLMJ also presented Dr. Jalloh with a commemorative plaque. This gesture acknowledges his impactful scholarship, clarity of understanding, and tireless efforts in strengthening families, nurturing faith, and uplifting Muslim communities across generations.
