St Simon the Cyrenian African Orthodox Church in America

St Simon the Cyrenian African Orthodox Church in America We are African Orthodox, catholic Western Rite but not Roman. Our Orthodox Church is evangelical, but not Protestant.

It has believed, taught, preserved, defended and died for the Faith of the Apostles since the Day of Pentecost over 2,000 years ago. It is Catholic, but not Roman, it has taught and proclaimed the truth since 33 AD. Our Church was organized in 1921 in New York City by +Archbishop George Alexander McGuire and in Africa in 1926 by +Archbishop Daniel William Alexander of South Africa.
