LEGACY MATTERS!!!

ECG TJNC Washington DC was alive with the truth of God's Word. Apostle Brian Ngambi wasted no time and delved into Transformational Shared Grace making a good example of when Jesus was amongst the Pharisees.

Luke 15:1-2 Then all the tax collectors and the sinners drew near to Him to hear Him. 2 And the Pharisees and scribes complained, saying, “This Man [a]receives sinners and eats with them.” 3 So He spoke this parable to them, saying:
4 “What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it?

In verse 11, Jesus begins with the story of the parable of the prodigal son.
In verse 20, we find that the father intercepted the Kazazah by spotting his son "a great way off," the father realized his son was walking right into a wall of public humiliation. The father ran to intercept his son at the edge of the village, claiming him before the community could execute the Kezazah. The father restored his son to all rights and priviledges of being his son.

The father shamed himself to deflect the son's same.
It is quite easy to see that Jesus Christ also took our shame from the accusation to the conviction, to the public punishment and to death on cross. In Jesus Christ, we may also find total restoration. The Bible states, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come". This means failures, shame, and brokenness do not define you; you are remade and renewed day by day.
