🙌 What a special Sunday at VIBC!

We had a powerful time of worship, a great spirit with God's people, and the joy of celebrating baptism! 💧✝️

Yesterday's message from Luke 10 reminded us that God has placed each of us in a unique circle of influence for a reason. Jesus calls us to go where people are, build meaningful connections, and be faithful witnesses for Him.

📖 "The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest."
Luke 10:2

🙏 Pray for the people in your circle.
🤝 Build meaningful connections.
🌎 Go where people are.

Let's continue Building The Body by investing in people and allowing God to use the connections He's already given us.

🌱 What if the greatest impact you ever make is by pouring into just one person?

Today's message challenged us to return to Jesus' blueprint for the church. Rather than simply gathering crowds, Christ called us to make disciples by investing personally in the lives of others. The future of the church isn't built on programs, it's built on faithful believers pouring into the next generation.

🙏 Pray and ask God who He wants you to invest in.
🤝 Be with people. Discipleship happens through relationships, not just information. 🌱 See the potential in others. Jesus saw future leaders where others saw ordinary people.
📖 Don't just learn God's Word, but live it by sharing it with someone else.

The church is more than a building or a Sunday service. We are called to build one another up, invest in others, and help raise up the next generation of faithful followers of Christ.

Thank you to everyone who worshiped with us today! We pray you'll take this challenge with you throughout the week as we continue Building the Body. 🙌

We were blessed to welcome Dr. Mark B. Hubble back to VIBC as he preached a timely message titled "Under the Influence."

In a world full of voices competing for our attention, we must be careful what influences us. The closer we walk with God and the deeper we know His Word, the easier it becomes to recognize truth from error and follow His leading.

📖 "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God..."
— 1 John 4:1

◾Stay under the influence of God's truth, not the world's opinions.
◾The best way to recognize what is counterfeit is to know the real thing: God's Word.
◾God has given each of us unique gifts. Don't chase someone else's calling, be faithful to the one He's given you.
