Join us as we continue our verse-by-verse study through the Book of Acts.
This week we examine one of the most sobering passages in the New Testament: the account of Ananias and Sapphira in Acts 5. Was their sin about money, or was something deeper happening in their hearts?
In Acts 4:32–5:11, we see a powerful contrast between the generosity of Barnabas and the deception of Ananias and Sapphira. This passage challenges us to consider our own hearts before God, our motives, our obedience, and what it means to live with wholehearted devotion to Christ.
In this message, we’ll discuss:
• The generosity of the early church
• What Acts 5 teaches about honesty and integrity
• The danger of pride, deception, and a divided heart
• God’s holiness and His desire for sincere worship
• How husbands and wives can move toward God together
• Biblical giving, stewardship, and trusting God with our resources
