Hey guys, a few more things about the Tent of Meeting:

During individual prayer time, do whatever will best facilitate connection between you and the Lord, without being distracting. If you want to sit, stand, pace, lay on the floor, whatever. You get to be your own worship leader. He has made us a nation of priests (1 Peter 2:9), so you get to be in charge of hosting Holy Spirit.

During corporate prayer time, one method to agree in prayer (Matthew 18:19) is to pray “Jenga prayers”. We listen as other people pray, then take something they said and add onto it, like pulling out a Jenga block and putting it on top of the tower.

Finally, this meeting isn’t meant to be one more thing to make you busy. It’s meant to be a safe, dedicated space where you can come and share quality time with the Lord. Intimacy with God will fill your cup; religion and busyness will empty your cup.

So excited for this meeting to bless the Lord and subsequently our community! ❤️

Hello! This prayer meeting recently started with the intention of creating a space for God to connect with his people, see the heart behind the group in the picture below. We’re so excited to make this meeting a gift to the Lord and unify around connecting with him!

When:
Wednesdays, 7-8am
Where:
CrossPoint Church, room 101
Who’s invited:
Anyone who would like to connect with the Lord
What do we do:
Start by corporately looking at a scripture that highlights God’s character
Let that scripture guide our time of individual praise and connection with him
About half way through the meeting, we’ll gather to intercede for something that is on the Lord’s heart
Why:
If you spread out the coals of a fire, you’ll put it out. Let’s gather and burn for Jesus, hosting a meeting that is pleasing to him
