To conclude our VBS our amazing Pastor Faron took pies to the face this morning!

What an awesome week it has been! Thank you to everyone who volunteered for this year's VBS-Rainforest Falls, Thank you to everyone who found a frog and prayed over VBS the week before! Thank you to all the parents who allowed us the opportunity to show God's love to your children. We pray that seeds have been planted and will grow in God's love every day! Thank you to Ms. Debbie for organizing all of it and to Pastor Faron for all the hard work he put in to it, from building the set, to doing skits, preaching and with the help of some others, building the new 9 Square In The Air that the kids raised money for with VBS offering, to also being such a good sport (even if he did whine a little bit) about getting "pie" in the face after service today! It takes a village to raise up God loving children and we have an awesome village right here at Westside! THANK YOU ALL!

In children’s Sunday School this morning, Miss Jamie shared, the scripture focus was 1 Samuel 16:7: "The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart." She used M&Ms to emphasize the importance of not judging people by their outward appearance. No matter how the M&Ms look on the outside, they’re all the same on the inside. That’s how God sees us. He’s not concerned about whether we’re beautiful or well-built, or with our skin color, our eye color or our hair color. God sees beyond the surface, He sees our inner character, our true intentions and motives. He sees inside of us, He sees our heart and He loves us all. ❤️✝️

Sunday School starts at 9:00 am each Sunday morning. We welcome you to join us. A Nursery is provided. We also have several different classes. Our children's program is fantastic.
