Hi, church! Pastor Lauren here!

As a new school year begins, I can't wait to celebrate with all of you this Sunday!

Whether you're heading back to school, supporting someone who is, or simply cheering on the students in your life, we'd love for you to join us for a fun morning together.

Before worship, stop by the Fellowship Hall between 10:00 and 10:30 a.m. for chair volleyball! Kids, youth, adults, grandparents...everyone is invited to join in the fun as we kick off the school year together. I hope you'll come ready to laugh, cheer each other on, and have a great time!

Be sure to visit our Back to School photo booth in the foyer, and if you have children with you, they'll receive a special backpack tag during worship to carry with them into the new school year.

We've also relocated our Wiggle Room! If your family ever needs a little extra room to move, play, or take a break during worship, come check out its new home in the Children's Hallway, Room C101. It includes toys for kids, rocking chairs for grown-ups and nursing mothers, and a livestream so your whole family can stay connected to worship.

I hope you'll join us this Sunday as we celebrate the beginning of a new school year together.

Yesterday was the last of our Jewish Feasts and Festivals unit. We learned about Purim and decorated masks & Groggers. Thank you Ms. Jackie for making this summer fun and yummy for us.
The preschool kids talked about their emotions and how it's okay to have big feelings.
Save the date: August 9th is Back to School and Promotion Sunday, where we greet our incoming Kindergartners into Sunday School. We will also be singing in Worship on the 9th!
