From gang member and teen mom to police captain. 💛 Evie West’s story is a powerful reminder that no past is too broken for God to redeem.

This week on Help Her Be Brave, Amy Ford sits down with Evie, a police captain, author, speaker, and mom, to talk about unexpected pregnancy, adoption, shame, and the relentless grace that changed the course of her life.

After becoming a mom at 16 and later facing another unexpected pregnancy, Evie found hope through the compassion of a pregnancy center, the love of a Christian community, and God’s faithfulness. Today, more than 25 years into her career in law enforcement, she’s using her story to bring hope to others.

Your past does not disqualify you from God’s purpose. He is still writing stories of redemption. ✨
