Rev. Dawn M. Wayman, a native of Maryland’s Eastern Shore, seeks to fulfill her life purpose of encouraging and inspiring people to be all God created them to be daily through preaching, teaching, and writing. Having begun her formal ministry journey on May 29, 2013, when she preached her initial sermon, “Go, Let My Light Shine,” at Mt. Calvary African Methodist Episcopal Church in Towson, MD, Rev. Rev. Dawn is a graduate of Morgan State University, Johns Hopkins University, and Wesley Theological Seminary.
Rev. Dawn’s guiding principle for ministry is, “Meet people where they are and show them God’s love.” One of her favorite scriptures is Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”
