Psalm 139:7 asks: 'Where can I go from Your Spirit? Where can I flee from Your presence?' The answer is nowhere.

When you drifted — and if you're honest, you know the season — God did not drift with you. He didn't pack up and leave. He didn't decide you were too far gone. He stayed.

And the same Spirit that was present when you were close is present in the distance. Waiting. Patient. Calling you back without condemnation. Wherever you are reading this today — He is there too.

The enemy hates VBS for a reason.

Because it's not just kids who are impacted.

Seeds are planted in children.
Faith is stirred in volunteers.
Parents are encouraged.
And the church is reminded why the next generation matters.

This isn't childcare.
This is discipleship.

Pray for every child, every leader, every volunteer, and every family connected to VBS this week.

Luke 15:17 says the prodigal son 'came to himself.' Not: came to church. Not: came to a program. Not: cleaned himself up first. He came to HIMSELF — he woke up to where he was — and THEN he turned around. That waking up moment? That's available to you right now. The moment you recognize the drift is not a moment of condemnation. It's the first breath of the way back home. You haven't gone too far. He's still watching the road.
