I don't know who all needs to hear this, but I am sharing it as I feel led to this one today. I believe the Lord is giving us a reminder to get back to the foundation and heartbeat of life, him. God bless all! I hope and pray this message reaches it's intended receiver. In a world that is filled with every form of bad fruits possible, let us allow our light to shine brightly during these dark times. Always cease every opportunity to do good unto others even, if it is not returned unto you. Someone does evil unto; love them and do good to them anyways. Their actions, should not affect yours. We are supposed to love, pray for, and even bless our enemies. Not hate them back and do exactly what they did to us or even worse in return. Those that hate, persecute, and use us bless them anyways and show them love. They clearly need it. We are supposed to do unto others as we would have them to do unto us, not as they do unto us. A really big difference. One is returning a wrong for a wrong, the other is doing good to those that do wrong and evil towards us. A wrong for a wrong, a tooth for a tooth, and an eye for an eye is the wrong mentality and way of doing and thinking. It never accomplishes one single good thing. So always be good unto others, no matter what. I don't care what they have done, said, acted like, or etc. Jesus always had mercy, love, and compassion on the sinner. As a matter of fact, he even ate with them to call them unto repentance. The Pharisees and Saduccees even talked about him upon seeing it. He never looked down upon anyone except to reach out and lift them up. Even the adulterous woman, he had mercy and compassion upon her as she was about to be stoned for being caught. And she was guilty too might I add. But Jesus still loved her anyways. She recognized that she needed Jesus. Jesus told her to go and sin no more. To leave her sinful lifestyle behind her basically. We can learn a lot from this. To love people no matter what. I encourage each person out there to seize every single opportunity you receive to do good unto others, to do so. That drug addict down the street that has been in and out of prison most of their life and done so many wrongs, reach out to them. That pr******te running the streets, show them there is a better way of life. That drunk that drinks all the time, tell them how much Jesus loves them. That gal down the street that has been around looking for love in all the wrong ways possible, show her what love really looks like in Jesus. And so on and so forth. Never look down on people except to lift them up. Point the out direction to Jesus and shine brightly enough to be seen and light up the darkness in the world around you. We can easily find something wrong with everyone out there, but rather than that. Why not look for a way to build up and encourage people? Enough people out there in this world tearing people down and criticizing every little thing. Television and social media is proof of that. Go to work, wal-mart, a gas station, a restaurant, a grocery store, or anywhere else and you will see it anywhere you go. But that is opportunity to seize and to do good. Make a difference for the better. There has been some thing to come out of this pandemic, it is to teach people how to reach out to people even more and to do good unto others. I also believe we are in a time where the Lord is sifting between true believers and the unbelievers. The ones that are actually living right according to his word. So many out there that are lost, dying, and hurting. We as God's people, really needs to be reaching out to as many as possible at every opportunity we get. Not laying around idle while the world is falling apart in every direction. Yeah, it is bad out there. But it has always been, just more visible during a time of social media and television because now it is openly aired for the world to see is all. Be that one that makes an impact on the lives of others. Even if they hate you for it.
Matthew 5:13-16 KJV:
13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 5:43-48 KJV:
43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?
48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
Matthew 7:12 KJV:
12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
Ephesians 5:16 NIV:
16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.
