Good Morning! We have some great opportunities to serve Our Savior and our community this month.

This morning at 10:00 we are starting our Ladies Bible study in James in our Sunday School classroom.

Saturday, Oct 11 at 10:00 our church is sponsoring a Trap Shooting Benefit and lunch for Levi Watkins at Randy Riley’s shooting range. (2677 Madison 7400). Levi is one of our Madison County police officers who has been very ill and has a long road of recuperation ahead of him.

Sunday, October 19th, we are having a baptismal service.

Sunday, October 26, is Fall Fest. There will be a chili cook-off, hay ride, games and so much fun.

Our lesson next Sunday is titled “Touching the King’s Heart”. I am looking forward to this one.
“Like Esther, we have been plucked out of obscurity and given a place in the palace. Like Esther, we have royal robes; she was dressed in cloth, we are dressed in righteousness. Like Esther, we have the privilege of making our request in the great throne room of the King.”

Eleven years ago our church building was dedicated and my granddaughter, Grace Mayes (blonde) and her friend Katherine Fancher sang. This Mimi’s heart loves the memory of these sweet voices and tender hearts.

Going Deeper Bible Conference
Dr. Bill Elliff will be here Saturday night 5-7pm and Sunday at 11 AM

He will be challenging us to have a Christ Centered life.

Bill Elliff is the Founding & National Engage Pastor of The Summit Church. He is a frequent sought out conference speaker, writer, and consultant to churches drawing from his 50+ years of pastoring and revival ministry. Bill leads Summit’s Send Church Planting Residency Bill is also the Pastor/Church Director for OneCry! A Nationwide Call for Spiritual Awakening and the author of twelve books and booklets and numerous articles.

We are blessed to have him here with us this weekend.
