Journey Through Bethlehem of Huntsville, Texas A non-denominational reenactment of Bethlehem on the night of Jesus Christ’s birth. Frosty the Snowman, Santa Claus, Rudolph, etc.)

Centered on a live nativity, visitors will experience scores of volunteers dressed in period clothing sharing customs, food, crafts and trades. $2 admission tax. Journey Through Bethlehem is put on by local people using their combined resources and gifts to share a fun, family tradition for Christmas in our community. We want to bring the “Good News” to the community in a very memorable way by rec

reating, as authentically as possible, that special night in Bethlehem when Jesus was born. For this reason, we choose not to include ANY secular traditions of Christmas in this celebration (i.e. While knowing these traditions are fun, the true basis of this ministry is exclusively the story of Jesus’ birth.

A shout out and THANK YOU to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints missionaries from Huntsville and Conroe who served Journey Through Bethlehem by decorating our city with bamboo, hay, table coverings, shop-signs, etc. As well as organizing our gift shop, hanging and sorting our costumes into sizes and anything we asked them. We love their youth and energy!
